This is the 9 ft. 24-karat Gold-leafed Kimball concert grand piano previously owned by Elvis Presley.
This piano was made in 1928 and purchased by Elvis Presley in 1957 for his collection. Later (1968), Priscilla secretly removed it from storage and hired European professionals to refinish it in 24-karat gold leaf for a first year anniversary gift for Elvis. It is covered in 24-karat gold leaf both inside and out.
Russ Kemppel, founder of Kemppel Industries, Inc., purchased this piece of music history in 1991. This Elvis piano is currently on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.
